The goal of this book is to introduce students to the fundamentals of pharmacoeconomics and pharmacoepidemiology. Application and comprehension of concepts are the main areas of emphasis. Providing illustrative examples to assist make these concepts more understandable, basic theoretical considerations of the fundamentals of clinical pharmacoepidemiology and economics are offered. To aid students in developing their application of theories, more practice problems and their solutions are also provided. To test the more experienced pupils, these examples vary from really simple to fairly complex. A number of learning objectives were taken into consideration when writing this book. Nonetheless, it's also helpful to graduate students in clinical pharmacy, medicine, pharmacy, and other biomedical fields. This book can be used as a stand-alone resource or as an addition to a longer textbook. We have departed from the "treatise" approach and given our subject a more generous covering of areas that students find particularly challenging in order to address the requirement for a textbook with a special emphasis on explanations and examples. Students have made several ideas, which we have included in this publication. We believe that students who have previously found Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacoeconomics challenging or unachievable will find this book to be especially beneficial.
